Official Cancellation of the C Clinic for 2008

This year’s State Hosted C License has been cancelled. US Soccer requires a minimum of 36 coaching candidates in order to conduct the course. Unfortunately, we did not have the necessary registration needed to host the course this year. We researched alternate dates and facilities but determined that hosting a course wasn’t feasible. We have been very fortunate in Washington to have hosted a course for approximately twenty consecutive years. We are beginning the process with US Soccer to establish a date for 2009. I would encourage those interested to visit the US Soccer website for a list of summer coaching schools being offered.

Of The Year Winners Announced

On Saturday, April 26th, Washington Youth Soccer bestowed awards and special recognition upon its most dedicated volunteers and coaches at the 2008 Annual Awards Dinner. Held in conjunction with SoccerPalooza, Washington Youth Soccer’s highly attended community event, more than 500 guests attended the dinner held at the Tacoma Convention Center to celebrate the accomplishments of state-wide nominees in eleven different award categories. 2008 Tacoma Tide Soccer Tickets On Sale Now

Season tickets for the 2008 Tacoma Tide soccer season are on sale, including a home match against the USL Champion Seattle Sounders in July. The Tide plays all nine matches at Curtis High School in University Place, Wash.

Applications for the Fall 2008 Far West Regional League

Applications for the Fall 2008 Season of the Far West Regional League will open April 1st. Applications will be accepted until June 1st. The entry fee is $395 and is due in full on June 1st
